Solar street lights for villages, temples and schools

For village roads, temple grounds and schools, SOLARO offers the PRO light — 1,400 lumens, LiFePO4 20Ah battery, IP65, wall or pole mounted, 900,000 LAK — plus 4 m poles (600,000 LAK), 5 m poles (1,350,000 LAK) and bases (290,000–490,000 LAK). Every order comes with an official receipt, and every PRO counts toward Buy One, Donate One.

SOLARO is a Lao solar lighting brand for homes and communities across Laos; ✦ models carry a 5-year LiFePO4 battery warranty, and manufacturing defects within 2 years get your choice of replacement or refund.

How many lights does a road need, and how far apart?

Use a simple formula: number of lights = (road length ÷ spacing between poles) + 1. Spacing depends on pole height, road width and the brightness you need. Send us the length, width and a photo of the road on Messenger, and our team will help you work out the number of lights and poles.

  • SOLARO's recommended spacing for PRO on 4 m and 5 m poles: Ask us on Messenger
  • A Thai home-lighting guide suggests mounting spot and front-road lights at about 2.5–4 m (HomePro).

How tall are the poles, and do they need a base?

SOLARO sells two priced pole sizes: 4 m (galvanised Q235 steel, Ø48 mm, 4 sections) and 5 m (5 sections, top 76 mm, base 114 mm, 210×210×6 mm base plate). There are two base types: a round base you fill with water or sand, and a square base that fits all poles. All carry a 3-month warranty.

What budget does a village need, and can we get a quote?

The budget depends on the number of points and the pole type. At list prices, one PRO + 4 m pole + square base = 1,990,000 LAK per point; 10 points = 19,900,000 LAK. This is arithmetic on list prices only — not a quotation. Send us your road details on Messenger to start.

Points PRO + 4 m pole + square base (list price) SOLARO HOME lights donated to families without power
1 1,990,000 LAK 1
5 9,950,000 LAK 5
10 19,900,000 LAK 10

Is there a bulk price for 5 lights or more?

Ask us on Messenger about bulk pricing. What is certain: every order comes with a written summary and an official receipt, and for every PRO a community buys, we donate one SOLARO HOME to a family still without electricity — buy 10, and 10 families receive light.

Can you issue receipts to temples or schools?

Yes — every order comes with an official receipt, and payment goes to the registered company account of PUSANY TRADING SOLE CO.,LTD, so a temple committee, school or village fund has clear proof of payment. For other documents, such as an itemised invoice or quotation, ask us on Messenger.

Can a community install the lights itself?

Yes, with helpers and proper safety equipment for working at height. SOLARO PRO mounts on a wall or pole and needs no wiring to the grid; after you order, we send a 60-second installation video. Mounting on an existing pole depends on its size — send us a photo and measurements first, and ask the pole owner's permission.

How is a community purchase different from a SOLARO donation?

A community purchase is a project you choose and pay for, such as PRO lights for a road. A SOLARO donation is a SOLARO HOME light that the company gives to a family, school or community still without electricity every time someone buys a ✦ model. See how donations work and who receives them on the Buy One, Donate One page.

Next step: send the length, width and a photo of your road or compound on Messenger — our team will help plan the lights and send a written price summary.
