Choose by the size of the area: HOME (550 lumens) for an entrance or front of the house; AURA (1,800 lumens) for yards and fences; AURA PRO (4,500 lumens) for bigger homes and gathering spaces; PRO (1,400 lumens) for streets and open compounds, wall or pole mounted. How much are poles, bases and complete sets?

SOLARO poles cost 600,000 LAK (4 m) and 1,350,000 LAK (5 m); the round base (fill with water or sand) costs 290,000 LAK and the square base 490,000 LAK. Poles and bases carry a 3-month warranty. Example: PRO + 4 m pole + square base bought separately totals 1,990,000 LAK.

Is there a promotion or "buy 1 get 1 free"?

Buy One, Donate One is not "buy 1 get 1 free". When you buy one ✦ model you receive one light, and we donate one SOLARO HOME to a family or school still without electricity — not to the buyer. We often see the question "how much is buy 1 get 1?" on Lao solar posts, so we explain it clearly here.

Is a solar light cheaper than EDL grid power?

Counting only the electricity bill, a single solar light pays back slowly, because LED bulbs use little power. It makes sense where wiring is difficult, blackouts are frequent, or you want outdoor light without adding to your bill. Household tariffs have risen sharply: for 0–25 kWh users, from 355 to 679 kip/kWh between January and July 2025 (+91%).

Monthly cost of a grid bulb = (watts ÷ 1,000) × hours per night × 30 × price per kWh. Example: a 20W LED bulb, 12 hours a night = 7.2 kWh a month ≈ 4,900 kip at 679 kip/kWh, or ≈ 12,400 kip at the 1,724 kip/kWh projected for December 2026. Check your own rate on your EDL bill.
